When you need a hand
OASIS STATION II
Due to increased request for a unit that could be exported overseas and because of the flexibility of this product, Emergency Services USA is proudly introducing a new unit to the line of “Oasis Stations”, the “Oasis Station II”. It is suitable for export worldwide, as well as for use domestically in those areas that experience disasters, such as flooding, forest fires, tornados, hurricanes, etc.. This unit is designed for hard to reach areas that cannot be serviced by ordinary means. The “Oasis Station II” can be airlifted or brought in on a flatbed to those areas in need of water, ice, and power. It is the most cost effective way to respond, and to be exported overseas/ worldwide for humanitarian and missionary relief efforts.
The “Oasis Station II” can be built to your needs and specifications. It is all steel construction with solid floors and roof. The following features are available on the 20 ft size:
- 1000 gallon water storage tanks
- State of the art water filtration system & UV light
- Pump to assist in getting water from tankers and/or wells
- Base hook up standard/ available optional oversized 45 KW diesel generators to provide power to hospitals, camps, etc. (call for electric info)
- Water dispensing area has 1-gallon and 5-gallon size filling stations, and water hose hook-up for filling, cleaning, and washing.
- Standard 2 ton capacity/ available 6-ton capacity of ice produced per 24 hrs.
- Standard non-power holding bin approximately 900 lb. capacity/ optional combo bin with power ice dispenser for bagging
- 8-10 oz water pouch packing machine available to take the place of water bottles. 600-900 plastic pouches per hour save space, time, labor and no need to overstock.
- Up fitted for overseas shipping
- Air lifting capabilities
- Trailer (optional)
- Optional - “endless hot water” with generator hook-up only. Built in hot water system to use for all cooking, cleaning, showers, and laundry. There is no need for a water tank, no extra floor space needed, no expensive hot water heating equipment
Compare this unit to current response and delivery systems. The “Oasis Station II” means there is no need to maintain an inventory to be moved from warehouse to trailers, and then hauled across country to the site of the disaster. Everything is contained in the unit, ice, water, and power. On average a trucker earns $2.00 per mile and about $900 in just waiting time. For more information, check out the link to the Gloucester Daily Times. The cost of disasters in property damage and loss of life are too great today, therefore we cannot continue responding in the same ways we have for the past 50 years. The way of the future is here, and it calls for less warehousing, less waste, and faster response.
On April 2, 2008 in Orlando, Florida, the director of FEMA, R. David Paulison, said, “the agency will no longer truck ice into regions struck by hurricanes, or other disasters” and “ice can be a comfort, but it is not a necessity.” See the full article on our website.
Cost of service with the “Oasis Station II” is measured in cents not dollars, response time in hours not days. Help is there for everyone in need, and can be built to your needs, and your bottom line.
The “Oasis Station II” is built to assist charities, missions, and health groups throughout the world, as well as for use in emergency situations. A certain percentage of our net income is donated back to local charities, as well as the offer of free use of the “Oasis Station” for local charitable, goodwill & fundraising events.
